Wood-Carr Community Fund is accepting applications!

Wood-Carr Community Fund Accepting Grant Applications:
The Wood-Carr Community Fund is accepting applications for grants beginning Monday, October 13 through Friday, October 31, 2025. If you are interested in applying for grant monies on behalf of a non-profit organization located in Wood or Carr Townships, please complete a Wood-Carr Community Fund grant application and mail to the address on the application, or return to the Borden Town Hall. Applications may also be mailed to the attention of Jeff Hunt at 28714 Green Road, Borden, IN. All applications must be received by end of day FRIDAY, October 31, 2025 to be considered.
To be eligible for a grant, the organization is required to be organized under Indiana State laws governing non-profit organizations and having a primary focus benefiting residents living within Wood and Carr Townships. All valid applications received will be reviewed. Unfortunately, due to a limited amount of funds, not all applications will be awarded monies. Grant awards will be determined by Tuesday, November 11 and announced to the grantees shortly thereafter.
The Wood-Carr Community Fund was founded in 1999 and for 26 years has awarded more than $285,000.00 to organizations within Wood and Carr townships. At its core, the Wood-Carr Community Fund is an organization created by financial gifts from generous people committed to their community and local causes. For donors, the Foundation serves as a philanthropic advisor. For the community, the Foundation serves as a grant agent and a civic leader. Through the support of its donors, the Wood-Carr Community Fund has been able to address some of the community’s most pressing needs including safety, civic, and educational needs. Grant monies are generated from interest gained on the Fund’s principal amount, allowing the Fund’s principal to stay intact. To enlarge the principle, the Wood-Carr Community Fund relies on individual donations from community members and organizations.
The goal of the Wood-Carr Community foundation is to continue benefiting future generations of Wood and Carr township residents by assisting the community organizations that serve them. Please help the Wood-Carr Community Fund grow by contacting your local Wood-Carr Community Fund Board member to discuss how you can contribute.
Thank you,
